Design and Engineering
Starting with a simple sketch or photo, or from complete project documents, we review field conditions and produce detailed drawings of our components, surrounding work, and attachment provisions. Using our experience with multiple materials, we frequently provide material assessment and selection assistance, as well as coordination of engineering and connection design.
Our value engineering approach has saved thousands of dollars on complex designs. We are experienced with both traditional materials and more modern alternatives and can tailor solutions to the needs of the project. Architectural Reproductions often suggests combinations of materials and technologies chosen for balance of appearance, durability and cost.
Tooling
Then our skilled craftsmen provide the tooling that enable us to produce your project. They are model and pattern-makers, sculptors, and mold-makers, who specialize in a variety of mold construction techniques working from existing pieces or from new models. They develop colors, finishes, and mix designs. They can make prototypes that allow you to view and revise your design in three dimensions. Our tooling staff is the basis of our reputation for innovative, efficient custom manufacturing.
Molding and Fabrication
Architectural Reproductions exploits the potential of molding as a means for producing shapes large and small, one-of-a-kind or production runs. We are especially skilled at shaping gypsum, cement, and polymer-based materials, alone and in combination. We can execute projects involving cast, sheet, and fabricated metals, and often combine complex castings with simpler fabrications to fit the application. For solid moldings or for glassfiber reinforced thin-shelled parts, we are experts at incorporating aggregates and pigments or applying paint finishes to suit your needs.
Installation and Coordination
Having spent our time on the job site, we understand the complexities of construction and the importance of on-time, on -budget delivery and installation. We supply installation drawings, framework, and connection systems, and integrated subassemblies. We also offer complete installation services. Or we can provide on-site assistance with installation layout, coordination, and scheduling to supplement your own staff.
